Ada yang buat report, ada yang buat budget, ada yang buat tender dan ada yang buat gaji. Semua mesti siap hari ni ... aiyo..

oh, baru 4 orang! ...jadi orang yang kelima terpaksa keluar beli makanan ....
Guess apa makanan yang dia beli ...

jadi kami buat jenayah di ofis!
... sekarang sudah kenyang!

First Office Raya ...

For the first time ever ... we had our Company's Raya Open House last Tuesday. Serious, first open house since the company incorporation in 1995! huh .. 14 tahun tu! .. and believe it or not, we had the green light to proceed with the function at 2.00 pm the day before, start calling and emailing our guest at 3.00 pm. and only managed to confirm the caterer and menu at 6.00 pm!

20 hours notice, but Syukur, majlis berjalan dengan lancar. Lihat lah foto-foto kami pada hari yang bersejarah itu.

Our sister - Suryani Abd. Majid @ Kay passed away just before Zohor on Friday 02 October 2009 after a year of fighting Cancer. She was only 27.

Projek ini kah?

OOoo bukan. Gambar di atas itu bukan my new project ya, teman-teman. My project belum boleh dikongsi lagi, belum suksess. Gambar di atas adalah antara projek kecil di kawasan rumah saya. Tapi gambar ini pun gambar dua minggu lepas. Pembinaan sudah hampir selesai sekarang. Besok hari cuti, so maybe saya boleh ambil gambar-gambar baru untuk dikongsi.

Sedikit update dulu ya.

I have not been well, down with cough and flu ...and still having sore throat. All started after the Kudat trip.

... yes .. we've reached the Tip of Borneo

...sangat cantik pemandangan di sini, tapi time kami ke sana memang sangat panas! Kalau di bawa ke sini lagi lain kali, definitely I akan think twice. Sekali, fikir pasal perjalanannya yang jauh dan cuacanya yang panas & sekali lagi mau fikir ketinggiannya cos I cannot stand berada di tempat yang tinggi dan directly melihat laut di bawah. To say that I'm afraid of height tidak juga, cos I didnt have any problem climbing Mount Kinabalu.

Alang-alang sudah sampai ke Tip, nah posing sekali lagi lah ...

..and this has nothing to do with the Kudat trip. Atas permintaan dari Hesitant blogger, saya post dulu gambar kek kek ini...

It has been 15 days since my last post. 14 days since my helper balik ke kampung halaman untuk bercuti. Some changes in our daily routinelah, but well ... we are coping pretty well. Oh, and we baked lots of cakes too in between!

Juggling office work, house chores and baking .. mana lagi ada time to blog. But I realised that I have so many cake pic to be shared, and I know some of you have been waiting for your cake pic to be posted here, so I'll grab this little time that I have to post some. Enjoy ..

hehe .. ikan Koi nya belum boleh show lagi ya. Still malu-malu ikan semua. Nantilah, once they are ready I ambil gambar ok.

Oh, I'd love to show you more of what we have now in our garden.. - flowers, cactus, pokok-pokok buah and others .. which all started from a humble beginning ...to what they are now. Maybe next time.

I'll be busy in the next two weeks or so cos Kia will be going back to her hometown (cuti-cuti indon), but I'll find time to update my blog and visit your blog too.

Hmm..
Been wanting to update my blog for a few days now. Staring at the screen, my fingers typing a sentence or two and then its back to deleting the whole thing over and over. My brain refuses to cooperate.

I guess too much looking at reports makes my brain tepu, and not to mention the sleepless night that I sometimes had thinking of how to collect payments from our customers. I look at the aging report again today, and my heart goes gedebak gedebuk, a whopping RM27mil yet to be collected from debtors!! That and benda-benda yang sewaktu dengannya causes nausea all the time. I need a break!!

I look forward to the days when I no longer have to worry about all those and just concentrate on doing the things I enjoy, things that gives me satisfaction ....Well, one step at a time. Insya'Allah the days will come.

Uh.. ok. Enough of those luahan perasaan. Let me share with you some of the cakes from our oven last week.

blue & white theme butter cake for fabmom's birthday, ordered by her 2 good friends - shabbymom and whimsy. My 2 girls had fun time creating those flowers and butterflies from fondant.

chocolate moist with butter icing - ordered by Valerie for her little Anya.

Lucky Anya, cause her mom ordered 2 cakes for her. Different flavour of course. Butter cake with butter icing makes Dora the explorer.

..and Thank you all. We hope you enjoyed the cakes as we enjoyed baking and decorating them. There is no satisfaction than seeing joy and excitement on other people's faces - especially kids, when we are able to create a cake that not only look beautiful but taste good for them.

My periuk masih lagi di office since the last time we had our steamboat. So today we decide untuk bersteamboat lagi. Makanan kali ni tidak lah sebanyak dulu. Just nice.

..tapi yang paling sedap ikan masin. Our kakak cleaner bawa dari rumah.

I tambah nasi 2 kali. My friends cakap I kuat makan sudah sekarang. Not like last time, satu pinggan nasi pun susah mau kasi habis. I guess that explain why my size S baju semua tidak muat sudah. But ah, I dont really care, as long as I am healthy.

Ini afternoon tea kami.

Wedding

Our first wedding cake.
02nd. May 2009

We have had a few request before this, but being an amateur baker we hesitated. We feel, or rather I feel that we are not ready for weddings. When Cay asked me 2 months ago if I can bake for his brother's wedding, I asked hubby's opinion. He said, "lets do it". And we did ...

A simple butterfly + flower design in purple and white. The cake is Chocolate moist with butter icing and cupcakes are of vanilla and chocolate flavour with butter icing.

Cay and I 'met' thru blogging sometime last year...we became cyber friends and since then we've been visiting and commenting on each others blog. The day that I delivered the cakes, that was the first we met face to face.

Today's lunch

Steamboat for 9, because colleague yang lain outstation. Lihat lah kuah yang menggelegak itu ....

Look at the background, can you guess where we had it? Right, Our office lah tu. Malas sudah kami makan di kedai-kedai berhapiran so we decided to have steamboat instead. This is the second time actually, the first was last month. But at that time everybody sibuk makan, so we didnt get to take any picture.

Kuat makan kah? .. eh ada lagi. We had cheese cake too. Momoi's new recipe. Tidak sempat ambil gambar sudah habis kena makan.

Ok lah. That's all for today. Got to finish some work because I will be on leave tomorrow. Not celebrating wesak a day in advance lah, my helper mau hantar duit ke kampung so nobody jaga little Shasha.

Masih busy lagi, so no interesting stories that I can share with you except for some pics of the few cakes we did last week. Enjoy.

Horse design cake ordered by Martina. Our daughter used to go to the same kindergarten.

.. this one is for a Manchester fan, a lecturer in UMS. This is the second order for Manchester cuppies from UMS.

My friend Jazz called me two days before her dad's birthday. Bake me a money cake,RM100 note ah bukan duit syiling she said. I told her I cannot do duit kertas but if she agree, I will add duit emas in the decoration. Nah, here goes ...

..she smsed me a day later to tell me that the cake was not enough for everybody. Budak-budak makan the cakes, orang tua makan cream saja. I wonder who ate the fat man?

And the red cake is for my regular customer Christine. "Happy Birthday Chris, semoga panjang umur dan dimurahkan lagi rezeki"

Tomorrow is a public holiday.
I will be busy preparing cakes and cuppies for Cay. Her brother's wedding is on Saturday, but I am happy cause baking is my hobby. Plus, hubby and the kids will assist me with the decoration. So its actually fun time for us.

I've been extremely busy the last week or so with work, work, and more work. Argggghh.. wish it will end sooner. I need a break!

I wish to go to this place again...

Look like its located overseas isnt it?
The truth is this place is only about 90 km from Kota Kinabalu. Beautiful place. Aman, damai, dingin - well a nice place to relax and forget about work.

We stayed here during Good Friday.

It was more fun cause we booked the whole place. So it was only us there together with hubby's good friends and their families. 4 families altogether. Amat meriah. We chat and eat, eat and chat and finally when we got tired of eating and chatting, the ibu-ibu and anak-anak went back to our respective chalet and sleep. But the husbands stayed on berkaraoke. Honestly, after nearly 10 years of being his wife, that was the first I heard my hubby karaoked ... and I love it!

What do you think of this?

Chocolate moist cake I baked for hubby good friend punya daughter. But the decoration all done by my hubby. This was last week punya project. We also baked and decorated 150 cupcakes - but I forgot to take pictures of the cupcakes.

The below pic is a progress of the beautifying our garden project as at Saturday 04 April.

Ya, its a fish pond bah. Almost complete. Special thanks to my daddy also for his helping hand. I will show you more pic of the progress nanti ok.

On another note,
I macam not so ok lah lately. I always feel giddy and tired. No, I am not pregnant if thats what you are thinking.

When I went to see the doctor today, I was told that I have low blood pressure. The blood tidak reach the brain the doctor said, thats why I selalu pening and get tired very easily. O, but he already gave me medication for 10 days. I hope I'll get better soon. And.. the best therapy, we are going for a short break di pergunungan during the Easter holiday. Cant wait...

Last Saturday

Last Saturday ...

I baked the above cheese cake for Lizabeth nephew. Simple design only lah but I have to say thank you to Momoi for the idea and Sai for the banner design.

Last Saturday ...

.. we turn off our lights to support the Earth Hour programme. Sorry for the poor quality of the above pic. Kan time tu bergelap so quality gambar pun kureng.

We turn off semua lampu dalam rumah and hanya pasang lilin outside the house where we ber BBQ dengan cahaya lilin. Best O. And to make it more interesting for the kids, we sat on the floor. My mum in law said - "beginilah nenek dulu-dulu, guna lilin saja dan makan pun duduk di lantai". Nah, apa lagi my kids, they were so happy to be able to experience zaman dulu-dulu.

Last Saturday juga, our gate buat hal. Time my hubby want to tutup our gate, one of the nuts terlonggar and made the gate tersasar dari landasan. Kasian my hubby, he had to tahan the gate dari rebah with one hand while the other hand is carrying little Shasha. No picture for this one lah, cos its an incident that I would like to forget.

Waaah, It has been 10 days since my last post. And ah..? its almost end of March! Cepatnya.

I have been busy baking lately. Syukur Alhamdullilah, memang banyaaaak sangat oder this month. Thank you so much for your support. But tonite I'm not baking so ada la juga time to update my blog sambil minum milo panas and makan kek horlicks...

...but kek horlicks tu bukan saya yang bake. My good friend punya mother yang bagi. I was told that kek ni kena kukus for 4 hours. Thanks Auntie Rohani for the cake. Sedap. Very the sedap.

By the way, here are some pic that hubby took during Nadia's engagement. Nadia is the second daughter of Auntie Rohani. Manis orang nya.

Look at my hubby ....

He is working hard to finish this up. This is part of the beautifying our garden project. I've asked him to just upah the Om, but he said he will be more satisfied if we complete the project dengan titik peluh sendiri. Almost done? No, not yet... still a long way to go, since we are only able to work on it during the weekend.

Guess what? I baked some buns during the weekend. Tired of baking cakes only lah. The result ...

I'll rate it 7/10. Not the result I expected, but almost there. Gonna try a few more times lagi ni. I have to achieve at least 9/10.

Hubby will not be able to take leave during the school holiday next week. Too bad. But the kids are okay about it, since we just got back from here .......

Breathtaking dont you think?

It was raining the day we arrived, but that did not stop us from enjoying our holiday. We brave the rain. Naik buggy meround golf course dan mandi laut. Pity we had to leave Shasha and her kakak penjaga di bilik. Baby tidak boleh main hujan. But the next day was hers... berjam -jam dia mandi kolam & mandi laut juga.

Didnt took many photos tho. Everyone was busy dengan aktiviti masing-masing.

Iya, kami baru balik dari liburan di Nexus Karambunai.

That explain why I am still in a holiday mood.

Kereta Ku

While reading Whimsy's blog tadi, I saw that she posted a pic dengan pemandangan tengahari Pantai Tanjung Aru. Picture below pula ialah pemandangan sunset di spot yang lebih kurang sama which my hubby took a few months back. Tiada kena mengena dengan title post hari ini, dan the 2 Mat Salleh yang tengah aramaiti tu pun tiada juga kena mengena dengan kami.

My day didn't kick off pretty well today, tayar depan kereta I pancit lah pula. I had to make an early visit to the tyre shop in Donggongon.

Time orang tu menukar tyre, baru lah I perasan punyalah kotor my kereta this. Sudah lama juga dia nda kena kasi mandi.

So after the mechanic fixed the tyre, I sent her for a bath. Snow bath. (hehe.. perempuan yang sedang cuci kereta tu bukan saya ok).

My tyre dah ok, my car a bit clean ... but I have one more problem.

I am still in a holiday mood ....
