Hmm..
Been wanting to update my blog for a few days now. Staring at the screen, my fingers typing a sentence or two and then its back to deleting the whole thing over and over. My brain refuses to cooperate.

I guess too much looking at reports makes my brain tepu, and not to mention the sleepless night that I sometimes had thinking of how to collect payments from our customers. I look at the aging report again today, and my heart goes gedebak gedebuk, a whopping RM27mil yet to be collected from debtors!! That and benda-benda yang sewaktu dengannya causes nausea all the time. I need a break!!

I look forward to the days when I no longer have to worry about all those and just concentrate on doing the things I enjoy, things that gives me satisfaction ....Well, one step at a time. Insya'Allah the days will come.

Uh.. ok. Enough of those luahan perasaan. Let me share with you some of the cakes from our oven last week.




blue & white theme butter cake for fabmom's birthday, ordered by her 2 good friends - shabbymom and whimsy. My 2 girls had fun time creating those flowers and butterflies from fondant.

Lucky Anya, cause her mom ordered 2 cakes for her. Different flavour of course. Butter cake with butter icing makes Dora the explorer.

..and Thank you all. We hope you enjoyed the cakes as we enjoyed baking and decorating them. There is no satisfaction than seeing joy and excitement on other people's faces - especially kids, when we are able to create a cake that not only look beautiful but taste good for them.

My friend Jazz called me two days before her dad's birthday. Bake me a money cake,RM100 note ah bukan duit syiling she said. I told her I cannot do duit kertas but if she agree, I will add duit emas in the decoration. Nah, here goes ...

..she smsed me a day later to tell me that the cake was not enough for everybody. Budak-budak makan the cakes, orang tua makan cream saja. I wonder who ate the fat man?

And the red cake is for my regular customer Christine. "Happy Birthday Chris, semoga panjang umur dan dimurahkan lagi rezeki"

Tomorrow is a public holiday.
I will be busy preparing cakes and cuppies for Cay. Her brother's wedding is on Saturday, but I am happy cause baking is my hobby. Plus, hubby and the kids will assist me with the decoration. So its actually fun time for us.

When Carol asked me to bake a cake for their Christmas gathering last year, she did not specified any design. All she wanted was a chocolate cake. So I baked her a house, a home for Christmas.

Golf cake

Sometime towards the end of last year, a good friend asked me to bake a golf theme cake for her dad’s 69 birthday.

This is what I came out with ...


I was searching high and low for a golf buggy but couldn’t find a size just nice to put on top of the cake. If only I managed to find one, I guess the cake wouldn’t look as plain.


Anyway, I was relieved when Shirley told me that they enjoyed the cake. Thanks Ley, and Happy Belated Birthday to you Uncle Ipang.



While uploading the cake pics, I remembered that our CEO will be celebrating his birthday in April. Since he is also an avid golfer, I guess it is a good reason to bake another golf cake. Not sure if he will be around though, cause I guess he will celebrate his birthday with loved ones back home. But hey, if he is not around then we will just mms him the cake pics & we eat the cake on his behalf. LOL. Having said that,I better start searching for that golf buggy again...

Icing on the cake

Wake up extra early today to put icing on the cake. Nobody ordered any cake, just that I’ve promised hubby a few days ago that I’ll bake him a cake for him to bring to the office.

No fancy decoration, just plain cream cheese icing. Should be ok just for them to makan-makan selepas breakfast nasi lemak di Krishna. When I’m done however, I notice that the cake is too plain. Then I teringat Whimsy and her life size doll, I have something similar but smaller ..Nah …Whimsy, what do you think?

Or would you prefer this? Which also remind me that I have not done any shopping for Christmas present. Aiya….

Our GM is on the way to the airport now; he is off to somewhere for a looooooong break with his family. I wish him safe journey, selamat bergumbira.

Doesn’t mean that the rats are free though.. the CEO will be coming in anytime now. Ooops… which also mean that I have to sign out now, nanti teropot pula blogging during office hours.

More Mother's Day Cupcakes

It was fun baking and decorating these cupcakes. Didn’t get to take many photos though because all hands were occupied on something. Honestly, we did not expect to get that much order for Mother’s Day. But we were relieved that everything went on well in the end.

To us, preparing the cupcakes was a great time spent among good friends. Good jokes, good laugh ……..everything good lah. .. so to all of you who ordered the cupcakes from us, we sincerely hope you like it . From the bottom of our heart….....

Cheese cake

I love cheese cake. Just thinking about cheese cake makes my mouth water for a big piece of it. My favourite topping? Blueberry. What about you? What’s your choice of cheese cake?

Hmmmmm. What could be more soothing & tummy filling than having a piece of this with a cup of your favourite coffee or tea ……



I baked these on Thursday night, not for myself but ordered by the Teachers of SM Datuk Peter Mojuntin.
