Makan-makan

We had a small Raya makan-makan untuk jiran tetangga during the recent Depavali Holiday. My jirans are ALL non muslims, so every year hubby and I would normally have a special open house just for them.

Not so many food lah. 4 types yang ini :

dan ada kelupis dan nasi impit yang ndak sempat di ambil gambar.

... since we have not celebrated Aryssa’s 1 year old Birthday, hubby and I thought that it would be nice, if we can prepare a cake for her to cut on the same day. I have not baked for sooo long. Kemalasan mem bake selepas lama berehat tu masih belum hilang actually. But since its for my daughter, I kuatkan juga semangat tu.

It was already late when I finished baking the cake. And memang I feel extremely tired. So I told hubby that I am going to sleep for a while and decorate the cake later. I must have overslept, cause when I woke up, it was already 6.00 am the next day. The day that I am supposed to have my open house. Adoiiii, macam mana ni??. I rushed to the kitchen only to find this ….

I smile from ear to ear. Fantastic! My hubby sudah siap mendecorate kan kek tu. Oh thank you, thank you my love. Chantique kan?

... ok lah, itu ja yang I can think of today. My mind is not cooperating well. Nanti lagi ya...

I feel great!

I apologize for the lack of update. It has been a tough week for me ever since I came back from my KL trip. Challenging, exhausting, draining, and all the synonyms that you can think of lah. But I feel much better now…

See this beautiful roses? Hubby surprised me with these on Tuesday.

He gave me a hug, a kiss and said: I love you so very much, Mama.
Being the sensitive person that I am, my tears fell like the morning rain. He touched my heart more than he knows…

To my dear hubby, I can only say these...

As the years go by, I stop and think about all the memories we've made, the good times we've shared and the love between us that keeps growing. You are not only my husband, but my best friend and soul mate. You are a blessing from above. I thank you for all the things that you've done for me and the kids. I love you Dad ... more than words, more than life. I'm forever grateful for your love and proud to be your wife.

... aaah.. I feel great! ..and I wish you all the same.

Happy Birthday Little Girl!

Aleeya turned 6 last Sunday - 12 October.

We did not have any celebration at home because she insists to celebrate her birthday with friends at Tadika. "Just a simple one mummy & can kah Boy the clown come? Please, please, please … mummy please ....."

.. and well I agreed.

It was simple indeed ….. only Happy Meals for the children and teachers. Boy the Clown was not reachable so we engaged the McDonald mascot to entertain the children.

Notice the small cakes? No, I did not bake them…I am still extremely lazy to bake so I bought 2 small cakes from Strawberry. Why two cakes? Because one is with Hello Kitty icing image to match her Hello Kitty earring and the other one is with Princess image as she loves playing Princess at home.

The Wedding

...and I attended the 10.10 wedding.

As the couple entered the hall, the violinist played a beautiful song and then there were bubbles everywhere...& confetti filled the stage..

....nothing special, just a plain pink dress, .. but because the boutique gave me 60% discount for the dress, I just feel like showing it off to you. LOL.

Yes..yes.. I am back to work and I have bunch of stuff to do in the office, but honestly... I am still very much in a holiday mood. Thank God its Friday so I can layan my mood.

Oh but today is 10.10, I will be attending my cousin’s wedding tonight. They chose 10.10 because the bride’s birthday is today – 10.10. .. and guess what? Her nickname is ten-ten. I was at their place last night for the final preparation…, they prepared 10 cakes. Serba sepuluh? Hmm.. I hope they will not get carried away with the number 10 and decide to do the cake cutting ceremony at 10.10 tonite. Theme color for the wedding is purple. So most of the cousins will be in purple tonite, but I am allergic to purple, so I’ll just wear pink. Want to show off my pink dress here, but I haven’t got the time to snap snap. So next time lah.

My post will be incomplete without any photo, so I’ll share these ...

Meet Papai, our long hair cat. We bought him from a Clinic when he was just 6 months old. He is already 4 1/2 years old now. Look at his big mouth ... Naughty Cat!

I was supposed to do this tag sebelum Hari Raya but my time was a bit tight. Not too late ba kan, lagipun masih dalam Raya mood lagi ni.

1. Berapa pasang baju raya anda tahun ni dan kaler apekah?
Empat pasang. Coklat, Hijau, Kuning dan Biru

2. Apakah makanan raya tradisional kegemaran anda?
Daging sate dan ayam masak merah.

3. Apakah biskut raya kegemaran anda?
Tat nenas, biskut sampan dan ulat bulu.

4. Berapa banyak duit raya anda dapat n spend untuk bagi kat bebudak?
Nda pernah dapat. Spend – RM2, RM5 atau RM10 untuk tetamu. RM50 untuk ipars dan makciks. (hehe .. tapi sebenarnya bukan duit sendiri, pakai duit husband!)

5. Apakah aktiviti malam raya korang?
Isi biskut dalam balang. Husband dan anak-anak pasang pelita &
colorlights terus main bunga api.
