OMG - I fall asleep!

I was preparing dinner when Momoi called me up last night.

Momoi: Nes, I tau kek apa yang ko patut buat malam ni.
Me : Apa?
Momoi: Ba, ko buat lah Chocolate Moist ko tu. Tapi ko ada bahan-bahan dia?
Me : Tengok lah. I masak dulu baru I fikir. I pun tengok-tengok resepi juga tadi.

I was actually thinking of baking fruit cake for Sai, something out of the ordinary. What a brilliant idea, I said to myself. Superb – my colleague will be able to taste and comment my new recipe before I promote to my regulars. (sorry girls .. macam guinea pig lah pula kan). O, ok fruit cake - I decided.

……but need to put Arys to sleep first. She has not been well the past few days, so kena give extra attention. And guess what?? I fall asleep while trying to put her to bed! When I woke up … it was like OMG, OMG 5.30 am? Where got time to bake and decorate? Huh … not so brilliant after all!!

I sms mrs. jordans and momoi - “I fall asleep! Tiada buat kek untuk Sai ni. We buy Secret Recipe lah nanti. Or any better idea?"

Momoi suggested - 'the revolving', mrs.jordans agreed. I said ok and ask Momoi to make the reservation.

Dawn - This is for you

I have not met Dawn my ITM buddy for such a long time. The last time we met was I think about 7 years ago during a ‘reunion’ held at her house in Penampang (that’s her 2nd. house - she actually resides in Tawau). After that it was just thru emails and sms.

Last month she sent me an email, asking me whether I can send her photographs of my children. She had never seen them, and probably curious to see how my children look like. I promised that I’ll send her the photographs but then I forgot all about it. She reminded me twice … and I said “oh.. ok… I’ll do it this weekend”, but that too .. I forgot.

I was looking at some photographs this morning when I suddenly remembered my janji manis …

Hubby came home a bit late from work on Friday. When I called, he said that he is still in town - di kedai Camera. I said to myself.. again?... lens apa lagi yang he wants to buy this time...(he bought a new lens the day before)

...when he reached home, he showed me this …


Me : ...what?? … Kenapa you buy this? .. as he currently owns a Nikon D80.

Hubby : This is for you lah.

Me: for?? .. as I am not really into photography and when I do need to take photos I rely on my BB – its 2 in 1.

Hubby : Useful ba ni. U bole ambil gambar your kek and stuff for your blog …

Me: touched ... and guilty because buruk sangka

Boss, if you happen to read this – Happy Birthday, semoga panjang umur dan dimurahkan rezeki. Nasib you are not around to celebrate, if not mesti we ask you to belanja us makan. Lagipun long overdue dah ….

O, in fact we celebrated – without you and without cakes. Only Kak Nong’s buns for breakfast, NO lunch due to loads of work with deadline to meet. (Luckily ada juga some homemade donuts courtesy of Mr. Senior Manager). See just how committed we are, even if you are not around.

Anyway, I promised the girls that we will be going out for a cozy lunch soon. And this is what we have in mind ….

This Cat

I love cats. We used to have 7 domestic long hair cats and 2 kampung cats at home.
When I gave birth to Arys, and my maid of 7 years went back to Indonesia for good, I decided to send some for adoption as I find less and less time looking after their wellbeing.

but today’s post is not about my long hair cats … its about this one …




Yes, this particular cat .. O I hate this cat ….

I don’t know who’s cat is this, what’s his name or where he came from .. all I know is that he is making my house his second home. I hate, I hate, I hate ….
because this cat sneaks into my kitchen, pee everywhere, scratch my dining table, scratch my carpet, and the list goes on …

BUT above all, I hate this cat because …. He seduces and makes my cat PREGNANT!!!

O just look at him … I tried many times to make him leave, but he will just sit there with his “trying so hard to be cute” pose. O please … mummy Isaac, can you ask Gay to adopt him?

Nerve-racking

It has been a while since I did my first post. Guess I was pretty occupied with other things, lots of unpleasant things. What a nerve-racking week!

I try hard not to stress myself out, try to think of happy moments that I’ve had but it is just too much for me to handle. I’m physically, mentally and emotionally strained …

…… girls, u think this tunggang tebalik thing will end tomorrow? Hopefully .. and mrs.jordans if that something really drop from the sky allocate some for me – interest free ok.
