12 December - yep, today is my birthday. I am officially 38 and I am not shy to announce it. Age is just a number. I am thrilled to have lived yet another year & I am thankful for everything.

I am thankful for my wonderful family & I am thankful for awsome friends like you whom I have met thru blogging.

....and I am thankful to my dearest hubby for these advanced birthday gifts... (love you honey .. muaaaah)

12 December - yep, today is also my elder sister's birthday.

Nope, we are not twins. Our birthday falls exactly on the same date but on a different year. To my dearest sister Nainey, I wish you a very happy birthday & many happy returns. Icing on the cake

Wake up extra early today to put icing on the cake. Nobody ordered any cake, just that I’ve promised hubby a few days ago that I’ll bake him a cake for him to bring to the office.

No fancy decoration, just plain cream cheese icing. Should be ok just for them to makan-makan selepas breakfast nasi lemak di Krishna. When I’m done however, I notice that the cake is too plain. Then I teringat Whimsy and her life size doll, I have something similar but smaller ..Nah …Whimsy, what do you think?

Or would you prefer this? Which also remind me that I have not done any shopping for Christmas present. Aiya….

Our GM is on the way to the airport now; he is off to somewhere for a looooooong break with his family. I wish him safe journey, selamat bergumbira.

Doesn’t mean that the rats are free though.. the CEO will be coming in anytime now. Ooops… which also mean that I have to sign out now, nanti teropot pula blogging during office hours.

My weekend

Went for a hair makeover on Saturday. Traumatized of the outcome, therefore not going to post any picture of the new hairstyle. Baked these muffins to ease my trauma.

The girls wanted a small Christmas Tree for their room, so went shopping for one on Sunday. Done with the shopping hubby treated us for lunch at Grace Point . It was a bit early when we arrived, so most of the stalls are still closed. Had no choice but to order food from the Mee stall.

I asked my daughters if they want to follow me to the washroom while waiting for the food, but they prefer to be with their dad. When I came back, my daughter asks ...

Aby : Lama juga mum..
Me : Ya, I took these …..

well... just want to share with you the clean and cosy washroom area...

So what did we had for lunch?

Caught in a jam

Caught in a jam .. again!

Just when I started to feel real bored, I saw a nice view through the window. Being caught in this jam is not bad afterall... Took my Nikon S210 from my handbag ...snap, snap...

"The image could have been better if you had taken it with your DSLR camera", hubby said.

But I always give the same excuse. "Its big, I cannot put it inside my handbag. Maybe next time, one of these days..."

when I left the office, I did not bother to clear the mess, tutup computer jak. Aduh .. sakit kepala!

it was raining cats and dogs. Hubby and I decided to bring the kids out for dinner.

Makan di Grace Point - hubby had fried fish and I makan the ginger chicken - yummy.

The kids and their kakak penjaga seperti biasa makan nasi ayam.

Saturday 21 November @ 10.00 a.m
Breakfast di Krishna Asia City. Nasi lemak sudah habis, so hubby had chapati while the girls and I makan roti bakar saja.

Lepas makan, we drove all the way to Kota Belud. Wah.. banyak nya sapi dan kambing di tepi jalan. Pusing-pusing kampung but nothing caught the attention of hubby's camera, so we drove back. (.. kami teda turun pun dari kereta)

on the way home singgah for lunch at Gayang Seafood. Oder this 3 jak, takut ndak habis.

... tempted to buy a bag at Elaiza. Not as expensive as the sapi in Kota Belud lah, probably, just half the price of the kambing, but suddenly I came to my senses, so tidak jadi.




..... had lunch at RCH instead.

Argh.... tomorrow is Monday, I still have those many paperwork waiting for me .. but I hope tomorrow will be a better week.

Terkurung di dalam sangkar. My time now is very much dedicated to work, work and more work. ...oh how depressing!
Honestly, I wish that I no longer need to remain in this cage.

I apologize for not being able to visit your blog lately as I am still struggling to finish up whatever is due before I take my leave in December. I miss reading your stories thats for sure, but always know that you are all very near to my heart.

On a lighter note, our boss treated us to a fulsome lunch on Monday. Green Lobster, Coral Trout, Flower Crab, Prawns are just some of it. See, big kan the lobster?

Lobster butter sauce. Pics taken before the lobster head kena kasi jadi soup. We had 2 of this lobster untuk 13 orang makan.

Not really interested to take pictures of the rest of the food sebab sibuk mau makan. Took this lobster pic sebab mau lawan gambar butter crab Fabmom.

Boss: Nes, nanti you settle bill ya..
Me : Boss?
Boss: Nanti you claim la, next week kan gaji dah.
Me : Hmmm...

...nah, that remind me that I have to submit my claim by tomorrow. How much? RM1,398.17 for Monday lunch. Ada lagi claim lain yang resitnya masih belum jumpa. Uwaaaaa....

This is why beach is so sentimental to me. So many feelings attach to it...of course a great one. Its a place to reconcile, place to think, to be inspired & to renew your love . To my Honey...thanks for always being there for me..including freezing for this 30 sec shot!!hahaha..Luv U always.

Makan-makan

We had a small Raya makan-makan untuk jiran tetangga during the recent Depavali Holiday. My jirans are ALL non muslims, so every year hubby and I would normally have a special open house just for them.

Not so many food lah. 4 types yang ini :

dan ada kelupis dan nasi impit yang ndak sempat di ambil gambar.

... since we have not celebrated Aryssa’s 1 year old Birthday, hubby and I thought that it would be nice, if we can prepare a cake for her to cut on the same day. I have not baked for sooo long. Kemalasan mem bake selepas lama berehat tu masih belum hilang actually. But since its for my daughter, I kuatkan juga semangat tu.

It was already late when I finished baking the cake. And memang I feel extremely tired. So I told hubby that I am going to sleep for a while and decorate the cake later. I must have overslept, cause when I woke up, it was already 6.00 am the next day. The day that I am supposed to have my open house. Adoiiii, macam mana ni??. I rushed to the kitchen only to find this ….

I apologize for the lack of update. It has been a tough week for me ever since I came back from my KL trip. Challenging, exhausting, draining, and all the synonyms that you can think of lah. But I feel much better now…

Being the sensitive person that I am, my tears fell like the morning rain. He touched my heart more than he knows…

To my dear hubby, I can only say these...

As the years go by, I stop and think about all the memories we've made, the good times we've shared and the love between us that keeps growing. You are not only my husband, but my best friend and soul mate. You are a blessing from above. I thank you for all the things that you've done for me and the kids. I love you Dad ... more than words, more than life. I'm forever grateful for your love and proud to be your wife.

Happy Birthday Little Girl!

Aleeya turned 6 last Sunday - 12 October.

We did not have any celebration at home because she insists to celebrate her birthday with friends at Tadika. "Just a simple one mummy & can kah Boy the clown come? Please, please, please … mummy please ....."

.. and well I agreed.

It was simple indeed ….. only Happy Meals for the children and teachers. Boy the Clown was not reachable so we engaged the McDonald mascot to entertain the children.

Notice the small cakes? No, I did not bake them…I am still extremely lazy to bake so I bought 2 small cakes from Strawberry. Why two cakes? Because one is with Hello Kitty icing image to match her Hello Kitty earring and the other one is with Princess image as she loves playing Princess at home.

...no matter how many birthdays come and go,
you'll always be our little girl.

The Wedding

TGIF

Yes..yes.. I am back to work and I have bunch of stuff to do in the office, but honestly... I am still very much in a holiday mood. Thank God its Friday so I can layan my mood.

Oh but today is 10.10, I will be attending my cousin’s wedding tonight. They chose 10.10 because the bride’s birthday is today – 10.10. .. and guess what? Her nickname is ten-ten. I was at their place last night for the final preparation…, they prepared 10 cakes. Serba sepuluh? Hmm.. I hope they will not get carried away with the number 10 and decide to do the cake cutting ceremony at 10.10 tonite. Theme color for the wedding is purple. So most of the cousins will be in purple tonite, but I am allergic to purple, so I’ll just wear pink. Want to show off my pink dress here, but I haven’t got the time to snap snap. So next time lah.

Meet Papai, our long hair cat. We bought him from a Clinic when he was just 6 months old. He is already 4 1/2 years old now. Look at his big mouth ... Naughty Cat!

I was supposed to do this tag sebelum Hari Raya but my time was a bit tight. Not too late ba kan, lagipun masih dalam Raya mood lagi ni.

Empat pasang. Coklat, Hijau, Kuning dan Biru

2. Apakah makanan raya tradisional kegemaran anda?
Daging sate dan ayam masak merah.

3. Apakah biskut raya kegemaran anda?
Tat nenas, biskut sampan dan ulat bulu.

4. Berapa banyak duit raya anda dapat n spend untuk bagi kat bebudak?
Nda pernah dapat. Spend – RM2, RM5 atau RM10 untuk tetamu. RM50 untuk ipars dan makciks. (hehe .. tapi sebenarnya bukan duit sendiri, pakai duit husband!)

5. Apakah aktiviti malam raya korang?
Isi biskut dalam balang. Husband dan anak-anak pasang pelita &
colorlights terus main bunga api.
